This is gearing up to be a big month!  After calling Manhattan my home for the last 9 years, the big move is looming up quickly. I am going to thoroughly  miss MHK, but seeing as I have spent so little time at home lately, I suppose I won’t go through too much withdrawal.    When I moved back, it was a great time to watch my nieces and nephew grow up (two of which have moved on to college), be closer to my family and build my business.  Now, the long drives back and forth to KC, sometimes making multiple trips a week, is wearing on me.  I suppose it is time to move when, as I am getting ready to drive home late at night after class, I think how nice it would be to only have to go a few miles…  To think of how much money I will be saving on gas!

One of the things I am looking forward to the most?  Being able to spend more quality time with my pups!  Solei travels with me almost everywhere when I teach, but Bode, Zoom and Caper stay home or go to the farm so I am anxious to be a much better dog mom for them.   Before long, every day will be take-your-dog- to-work day and the whole crew can go!  Not to overlook how my Mom can’t wait until she doesn’t have to watch Bode-the-Brat for me anymore.  🙂

Everybody is excited to see work start on the MECCA project (nobody more so than me!).  I am overwhelmed with just how much is entailed in finalizing plans that have to jive between the buliding company, engineers, architects, contractors, etc.  Add on top of that the process of getting permits (do we have to have one to sneeze, as well?) and it all just equals a lot of time and requires patience.  I am thankful every day to get to be a part of it.  I promise all of you, it will be very worth the wait and I am going to have to pinch myself when it is finally completed that dreams really can come true!  Let me know if any of you have questions.  This is the time that I expect there are rumors and speculations abound and I (as well as Pam Leach) are more than happy to answer any inquiries.  Keep an eye on our website ( for updates!

Also, I am going to be making some additions to training options with All Star Agility in the near future.  Stay tuned!
